Can Parents be a reference for a Canadian PAL Application?
I am Applying for a Possession and Acquisition Licence and filling out my paperwork, Where I am stuck is at the references section. I am wondering if one can use their parents (mother, father) as legal references on the form, as the requirements state that person giving the reference must know person applying for at least three years, and can not be conjugal partner or spouse. However, I was just wondering because I know that on a Canadian Passport application, one's parents may not be used. I have tried reaching the Canadian Firearms Program via phone and e-mail, to no avail. Thanks for your help!
