Questions about laptops...?

I need to get a laptop to use for data acquisition software and data collecting instruments (mainly using NI LabVIEW 2010). This laptop must have a lot of memory, must be fast, cannot be HP (had one before and I didn't like it), needs an HDMI port, must be able to handle multiple programs running with ease, must be a PC (I love Apple and have a MacBook Pro as a personal computer but a PC would work best for my work), and would ideally cost under $1000. Does anybody have some suggestions as to what my dream laptop could be? Thanks for any help!
