Will the world really end in 2012?

No, the "2012" phenomena is Science Fiction, idiotic interpretations of some Mayan Calender. However, there are countless realistic "dooms day" scenarios. Super volcanos ; giant meteorites ; the sun finally burning out (not for billions of years though). I'm sure the scientists are working over time to predict the latter.
